WebArterial TOS (aTOS) is by far the rarest form, occurring in 2–5% of TOS cases ( 3) and is often due to the presence of an anomalous first rib causing compression of the scalene triangle. Symptoms may range from pain (of the chest wall, axilla, shoulders and neck), numbness, paresthesias, weakness and vasomotor changes of the upper limbs.
