Web7 mei 2009 · What I would do first is check to see if the floats are air tight. (Or gas tight, as it were.) You can dry them off completely with compressed air, then weigh them on a gram scale. Then weight them down submerged in a beaker of gasoline overnight. Take them out the next day, blow them dry, and weigh them again. Web12 apr. 2024 · A quick easy trial fix is to blow air into the fuel intake line, or up into the drain line to unstick the float. I could do this but I cannot find a screw to open/close the drain so that i can drain the bowl without adding more fuel.

Web10 jul. 2009 · Tapped the float bowl, drained the float bowl, got a couple of really small crud out. If I put a tube on the nipple on the bottom of the float bowl and open the drain screw and give a good blow would that maybe free up the float? I am going to rebuild & re jet the carb but can't do it for a week or so. Any ideas for the interm???
