WebIt's a Unity Bug. Slow load times if you have unused Network Adapters, be they from hamachi or other VPNs, Virtual Machines, or (presumably), actual physical ones. Unity is by far the worst part of KSP. It probably has to do with the fact that it doesn't matter whether plugins are compiled in 32 or 64 bits.
