Early 1980s Scottish post-punk group featuring a young Peter Capaldi, later a well-known actor who played the twelfth incarnation of the "Doctor" in the popular BBC television series, Doctor Who. At one point, the role of drummer was filled by comedian/talk show host/writer Craig Ferguson. WebDreamboy was a mid-'80s R&B/funk band signed to Quincy Jones' Qwest label, distributed by Warner Bros. Its lineup was singer Jeff Stanton, guitarist Jeff Bass, keyboardist Jimi Hunt, and bassist and drummer George "Dewey" Twymon.The group was started at Oak Park, MI's Oak Park High School.
